FORWARD MARCH
The March walk was a bit thin on numbers for a variety of reasons. There were only 4 hardy souls who managed to get out - Dave, Sandra, Pam and Hugh. Hugh provided me with the pictures. As I was not there, this is all made up unlike the other blogs which are the unadulterated truth. I apologise in advance if anyone feels I have not accurately reflected what went on in Daviot Woods.
Here they are getting ready to go.
This photo is just to prove that Hugh was there! The bag is unknown.
It wasn't long before Pam and Hugh forgot that they were with each other and phoned themselves to find out where they were!
They soon realised that they were relying on Dave to navigate so they quickly deduced that they were lost.
But soon a hairy friend showed them the way to go.
The artistic photo - not as good as mine, I think you'll agree.
Out of the woods and into the view - if only it had shown the A9 Trunk road after that last photo.
Despite everything she did, Sandra could not stop Dave from farting - even if it was outwith the permitted hours. In fact, she showed extraordinary braveness being that close!
It would seem that the reason that Dave ignored the blasted sign was because he couldn't read as we can see here. Either that or he thought that there was something to be gained from sneaking into the back garden of the houses - just what has he got inside the bag?

Not only did he sneak in, but they all got carried away and started to wreck the play equipment - it seems clear to me that without some sensible people being there things just got out of hand.

What can you say about this next photo - if only they had acted their age and not their shoe sizes.

A pretty view of the church at Daviot - safe to say they didn't go in.
A bit of tundra.

And then off they went to somewhere warm for a bite to eat and a cup of tea - again there was nobody sensible to direct them to a pub instead.

It looks like they had fun, but most importantly they went - well done to all 4 - and especially well done to Hugh for keeping out of most of the photos.
