PAM'S PERAMBULATION FOR CHARITABLE CAUSES

The June walk did not take place for a variety of reasons - holidays and the like. However, one of the Dinosaurs did walk and for charity at that. Pam did the Moonwalk in Edinburgh for Breast Cancer charities. This was some endeavour - 26 miles is no mean feat - especially when you are only wearing a bra. Actually she did have some other clothes on , but I just wanted to see how many of the guys stopped reading and rushed forward to the photos!! So here she is getting ready and wearing a T-shirt that has a bra on the front - not quite what they were hoping for.

Obviously Pam didn't do this alone and here is someone else who did what her mother told her as a child and walked tall.

However, as promised, Pam did the decent thing and got them out for.......sorry, entered into the spirit of the event and wore a fairly florid bra. I'm not sure what the numbewr 11074 on her leg actually measured.

Naturally a girl couldn't do something like this without some support - and this was Pam's - certainly not something you see every day in the middle of Edinburgh, at least not outwith the Festival season.

Clearly walking with only a bra on makes it very difficult to keep the camera steady, at least , that is why I assume that this photo has jiggled about.

Well done, Pam - you were the only Dinosaur who walked and for a good cause too. You deserve a medal and you certainly have the admiration of the rest of us, because no matter what some would say, I wouldn't walk round Edinburgh in a bra!

These photos of the Moonlight Marathon were given to me without Pam's knowledge by her son Craig, who tragically drowned on July 5th at Loch Assynt while away with some friends. He was a fine young man, a great son to Hugh and Pam and a good brother to Carly. All our thoughts are with them.

Craig Peter Hutchison - a great guy.
