The April Amble.

The April Amble was a little different for the dinosaurs. Charlie had prevailed on us to do something for our fellow human beings - a bit of an ask for the grumpier among us! He had organised a charity walk for the Bravehearts along the canal from Inverness to Dochgarroch. Most of us turned up and over a £1000 was raised on the day which was pretty good. It must be said that there were other people there who probably contributed a bit of the money. Anyway - the photo shows most of us forging out along the canal towpath - although Sharon seems to be a bit in front of the rest!

Sunday Lunch

As always there has to be a photo of lunch and this is it - by the canal at Dochgarroch.

The lock

Some would say we should be locked up - but here we are on the lock at Dochgarroch.

The sermon on the Mound (of sand)!

The pub! For a well earned cold drink.

Whilst the dinosaurs were coping with the changeable weather around Contin and Strathpeffer the Camerons were embarking on a walk around the rainforest in Queensland. Although machetes were not needed it was an intrepid undertaking in the Mary Cairncross Reserve.

You can see Sharon alongside a very big tree - a Carabeen tree if memory serves!

Finally there is a photo of a paddemelon - which is the smallest of the Kangaroo family - it said somewhere. The prize for guessing correctly goes to Maureen. There are no prizes for second despite the pleading and whining from another nameless dinosaur - Jim Smith!
